Finally, I'm writing a "Bands to Watch" bit on a hometown band! Alberto Alaska is a band made up
of members Michael Cardinale, Evan Clark, Jacob Cavinee, Jay Asarese, and Doug Kelley. The
alternative/post rock band was founded in 2010 in Rochester, NY. Their lyrics are honestly what
caught my attention; their music grows on you very quickly. I was hitting repeat after listening for
ten minutes. They have a lot of potential beyond just the local scene, so I'm excited to watch them
grow as a band.They're currently in the studio creating more music, and will resume touring in the
