Blog Update

Hey everyone! Just a few things to run through for the update today! First of all, I have two more interviews with local bands coming up! Both interviews are on Saturday, and one will be posted at the beginning of next week, while one is posted at the end of next week. One is with a Rochester band called The Branch Davidians and the other is with Buffalo band Thundercloud Kid. I've also emailed a few more and I'm hoping to hear back soon.

I'm also adding another type of post to this blog as well: features. These could be on bands, area music shops, venues, local music organizations, and other things like that. Look out for those! The first one should be out sometime toward the middle of the month.

Lastly, if anyone is interested in contributing to this blog about their own city's music scene or if you want to write a feature about a local band in your town, email me! Send your email to lizwmcc@gmail.com with the subject line 'Shufflebeatmusic' with your pitch and I'll get back to you ASAP! I check my email once an hour, so I'll get back to you pretty fast. I'd love to hear about other music scenes and I'm always looking for new music.
