Update!

So it is almost the end of 2014, and I can't believe it. The year has gone by so fast! That being said, I am starting to brainstorm ways to revamp this blog for the New Year. Those changes will be unveiled little by little, starting now!

Starting January 1st:

--No more "Song of the Day" posts. I think they clutter the blog and make it difficult for people to find actual posts such as interviews and features.

-- In place of the SotD posts, there will be a mini-playlist 2-3 times per week IN ADDITION to the regular Sunday playlist. Mini-Playlists will be 7-8 songs, depending on how many playlists I plan for the week.

-- Sunday Playlists will have an added feature. I will be posting them as a playlist on Spotify, and will link it. The only exception to this will be local playlists, because Spotify doesn't generally have smaller bands.

-- I will be focusing more on the LOCAL scene. I tend to get away from that a bit, but that is why I started this blog in the first place! One playlist a month will be exclusively local artists. Playlists will still be general and so will reviews, but there will be more Rochester-based things mixed in.

-- More interviews! I'm compiling a laundry list of locals who I'd like to interview and starting to contact them. The goal is going to be to have an interview up once every couple of weeks.
