Sgt. Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Band
Beatles
1967

This album is like no other album in music history. Beside having great songs and awesome quitar riffs. There is a mystic about the cover. Is or are there clues to Paul McCartney death? Intersted or intrigued? Listen to the music and search the clues.

Another tidbit about this album it won four Grammys in 1968 and one Album of the Year the first LP to win this honor. The songs were so great that a movie was made from the album itself. Starring the Bee Gees and Peter Frampton.

1.Sgt. Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Band- Great song about a band that had been around for years. An introduction song before the show. With Paul being the Mcee as the last of the lyrics go “so let me introduce to you the one and only Billy Shears.”

2.With A Little Help From My Friends- The first lines of the song is a question that every singer ask? “What would you do if I sang out of tune, would you get up and walk out on me?”

3.Lucy In The Sky With Diamons- This song proved that a child could give a great concept for a song. Most people that this song was about LSD and being on a trip, but the story goes that John’s son brought home a picture he drew about a woman flying around and he said its Lucy In the Sky with Diamonds. “Picture yourself on a boat on a river, with tangerine trees and marmalade sky” These lyrics to me could go with the movie Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

4.Getting Better- Talking about being young and angry boys. But beginning to out grow the anger. “ Its getting better all the time.”

5.Fixing A Hole- A silly song, about fixing a hole in your mind. Gotta love this lyric “if im wrong im right.”

6.She’s Leaving Home- Talking about their  daughter leaving home. Like for most parents when their child leaves the nest its hard to handle. “ Silently closing her bedroom door, leaving the note that she hoped would say more.”

7.The Benefit of Mr. Kite- Just a song about a circus act going to be performed. Just a song that goes with the theme of the album.

8.Within You Without You-  A song that explains life and people that go thru life that keep to themselves. “And the people who hide themselves behind a wall.”

9.When I’m Sixty Four- A great song. Asking your loved one. “Will you still feed me, will you still need me when im sixty four?”

10.Lovely Rita Meter Maid- A little silly song about trying to make it with a girl. An older woman that pays for the bill and takes him home for a night of love.

11.Good Morning, Good Morning- Talking about life as a married man. You get up ,you go to work, do a little girl watching, then going home to the wife.

12.Sgt. Peppers Lonely Heart Club Band- A reprise of the first song. Almost ending the show. Asking the crowd did they enjoy the show.

13.A Day In The Life- This song tells about a man who lost his head in an accident. Which leads to the mystery. Did Paul McCartney die in an auto accident all these years ago? Had he been replaced with a look alike called  Billy Shears? Listen to the album and decided for your self.
