Review: Wanted On Voyage by George Ezra

Here's a couplet of my take for each song on George Ezra's debut album.

Blame it on me

Sharing the blame can make the burden light

When it's offered, why even fight?

Budapest

Traveling through a another land

Makes getting to know each other a little less bland

Cassy O'

If Cassy O' were to stay

George would have a better day

Barcelona

Barcelona has its bull

But this is truthful

Listen to the Man

He has so many kind words to say

He's just trying to make her day

Leaving It Up To You

Go if you must

But stay if you trust

Did you hear the rain?

Her love means more

So he might bring the radio outside of her door

Drawing Board

Strategy could bring hope

Or at least a way to cope

Stand by your gun

Take a stand

For hopes of the grand

Breakaway

Their words will pass

Acknowledge them with sass

Over the creek

Sights set across the pond

Where they may have a better bond

Spectacular rival

Not seeking opposition

Could you leave your negative position?
